The ways we collect your data directly including through contact detail update forms, donation forms, event registrations and in person. If you are a student, or studied at the University, some of your data can be transferred from your student record to the universitys alumni database. Personal data collected from you by other University departments may also be used for Advancement purposes, depending on the circumstances under which it is collected.
The university is committed to securing your data, in line with the universitys Data Protection policies and relevant legislation. Personal data is held on secure servers and these servers are accessed only by authorised personnel. In the event of a data breach, we will notify you and any applicable regulator, where we are legally obliged.
